  1. thanks, all of you! I know that second pic is a little blurry, but it's a pin/pendant. Pretty sure some people that know I'm usually interested in a quick flip are gonna be a little peeved when I'm o...
  2. Stone. Turquoise, mother of pearl and spiny oyster.
  3. The title. I placed a very low bid in an online auction for this guy hours before the end of the auction. That was the shot. (My bid was so low that I ALMOST feel bad) and nobody outbid me. The SCORE!
  4. So, I just searched some of the designers that a few of you said some of the brooches I have might have been made by. Some of the designs are nearly identical. I did read somewhere that not all Park L...
  5. Ms.CrystalShip I have original sales brochures from Park Lane. All four of those styles are definitely shown in those brochures. That's where I found the style names. And, even though the brochures o...
  6. Try shining an ultraviolet light on it. If it glows bright red, it's likely ruby. If so, it's probably a created or man made, but there are basically 2 different types of created ruby, and the lab gr...
  7. Thanks much, Tex. I appreciate it.
  8. Gillian, I put the backs in a separate post. The original post is still up as far as I know.
  9. I do. I'm out selling some stuff at a flea market today. Some time during the week I'll scan and post more.
  10. not even close. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch_Tree
  11. There were a couple mid century sterling pins and a sterling Park Lane ring. They're not in the pics.
  12. It's kinda funny. The lady that ordered the bear claw necklace from me is absolutely convinced that it will appreciate significantly after I become a famous silversmith, she owns 2 of my claw necklaces.
  13. shareurpassion, I'd consider myself a novice silversmith. I do claw jewelry and tufa casting. Started doing it part time about 2 years ago. I posted up one of my bear claws earlier. I'll post more soon.
  14. Those are Park Lane. Gillian asked to see the backs of the brooches I posted earlier. Quite a few of them are unsigned. They are "Sorrento", "Emerald Ice" "Aqua Fleur" and "Breath of Spring"
  15. "I'll take #3 in a hot second!!! Gorgeous!" And the pics don't do it justice!
  16. Thanks for the heads up shareurpassion, I'll definitely post the pieces I haven't been able to identify before doing anything with them.
  17. Thanks for the comments. I'd love to see that tooth. The most common teeth I've seen are bear, raccoon and wolf.
  18. Yeah, that's mostly Park Lane, a few Sarah Coventry, and a couple I haven't identified as of yet. I'll try to get those posted up soon. Maybe someone here will recognize them.
  19. My wife has to go through all of it to decide which ones she's keeping. Not for sale at this time.
  20. Very nice! The turquoise looks a lot like some of the kingman turquoise I've used.
  21. Gillian, I posted up some pics of the backs a little bit ago. All, thanks for the comments.
  22. See more
