Produced in the Glass Factory in Leerdam Holland . My family comes from this town , i used to play with this annimals and where sold for about 1 dollar niw they are highly collectoble items about 200 dollar a piece to 2000 dollar

Apologies ..... I was wondering what your grandfather did at the factory?
My grandfather worked there as repairman for the machinerie, he had to clean the machines from glass drippings. he had to hammer it out when the hot glass froze when it cold down.the machines looked like big noisy fire spitting dragons He worked here his whole live. The factory is just about 1000 meter from the old centre , they song here the whole day , especcially old german songs because most glass employees came from germany the factory they called the hutte which mean factory in german. When the wind was turned people in Leerdam could here the men in the factory sing droomland which mean dreamland oh dreamland i wish i was in dreamland, every day his friend picked him up and they went together to the factory , they even had there own sportschool.
meydam is the brother of my aunt , it was just a dirty factory they had never heard about the word designer they just worked there , than they started to make things for themself. the factory it self has changed that much they still produce bottles beer in the millions it is an old dirty dark building and you can imagine when i walked into this hell of noise heath an fire on the hand of my grandfather in this big factory i was very impressed , you could see the orange hot glass fall down in to their malls from high from the ceiling down to the bottom . Glass is alive! It flows glows and make a lot of noise till it cools down and get his frozen form.
