      Hi arocpk

      This piece just by its very look dates from the Republican period (Tongxi) with a cyclical date concealed within the Chinese script you see. This was a typical feature of Republican wares and the painting and depiction of scenery is quite exquisite painted in the Kakiemon technique where Less is more. It definitely dates to aroudn 1900 and it is a fabulous piece
