    hello i need some help in identifying this small wind-up clock insert.it has the s and f setting which i believe is to make the clock run slower or faster.if anyone knows the brand or were it goes please help me out.i would really appreciate the help.

      Shot in the dark as to mfg....but it's a car clock/cockpit clock, pre 1940's, betting man says Phinney-Walker, but would need to see back side of movement.

      One opinion is military airplane clock or nautical clock maybe german made.

      I have one just like this except it is complete and it is part of a Honeywell clock thermostat any old timer working in the home heating can tell you the model. I looks as though there is a part missing on the back side of the movement plus the thermostat assembly with the glass thermometer and mechanical internal parts.

      I have no clue -- Kerry here would know best. All I want to say is this old clock of mine has a honking back on it too.
