    I found it in my toolbox. I think I inherited it from my father when he passed away in 1969, but I have no idea what it is. It's obviously a No. 1 Morrill, but what is it used for? The bottom of the handle appears to be broken off.

      I learnt at an early age not to have any part of my hand above the shoulder when slamming the handle down, oooouch!
