Isn't it beautiful?? I purchased this at a crummy little place (can't really call it a shop or a store) that sold marble. I think the birds are bronze and the base is marble. I actually purchased two clocks of this era, but totally different. I gave the other clock away, sadly.
I have not found any markings anywhere. And the clock has never worked, I just bought it to look at! Does anyone have any ideas about it's origin, and am I correct to say it is from the Art Deco period?

What a beautiful find! I don't know if it is "Art Deco" or not, and there are experts here who can no doubt tell you definitively one way or the other but the birds give it a "Tambour" shape that I think just about any clock collector could love and appreciate.
