    This piece is marked patent on the bottom. The frame is marked Meriden B Co.I would greatly appreciate any information about this piece. I believe this could be made by Phoenix Glass. I found an article that said early Phoenix coralene pieces were marked patent. I also found an article that said early English pieces had a similar marking. I am clueless!

      That's awesome. How did you find out that it was vaseline? I've never seen one like that, with cranberry and vaseline! I take it you shop with a UV flashlight, like I do!

      As far as I know only Fritz Heckert did sign his patented 'Coralene' decorated glass ware by 'Patent'.
