Is this vintage? Reproduction? The photo is not great. Sorry. I'm hoping it is an "authentic Hoffman", but I have not the first clue. Help! Thanks.

They did repro this like crazy. One year I gave all my friends this for Christmas. No idea if this is repro or genuine. Hope it is real!!

Yes, I have a repro of this piece. Normaly I don't buy repro's, but the quality of the glass was so good I could not pass it up for $12. It is marked Desna, made in Bohemia, Chech Republic. Unfortunately it is printed on a clear tag that could be easily removed. Mine does not have the butterfly shaped mark you tried to photograph. And I just noticed for the first time it is faintly etched Desna in the glass as well.

I have one that is clear w/ the butterfly mark. I have been told that the butterfly mark is the mark of Hoffman. Is it purple? Never seen a purple one, beautiful.

It is actually a light blue. It shows purple under some lights. She is lovely. I can't seem to find much info. about Heinrich Hoffman pieces. Lots of stuff on Desna glass. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places? anybody know where I can find out more? Age, value, etc....
