Perhaps not an antique as the one source says It was made in the 1930s by BiminiCricket. But the net isn't 100% reliable. But as a source it isn't worse than any other. Other sources for similar pieces say 1910-1920s.
Anyway this is for washing clothes in a tub. I have washboards and a wringer and a tub so I am all set. The head on this is copper with an attractive seafoam green wood handle. It is about a foot long, I have a pen with it to show scale.
I was thinking of having everyone guess what it is but then I would have to do that ........thing to get enough characters to post.

You are wrong. It is very clearly part of an antique Victorian Dalek

fortapache, Google Lens is starting to harsh the guessing game. It turned up quite a few of different brands.

Not that I had any clue what a laundry dolly was before I did a search:

      *snip*

OLD VINTAGE SIMPLEX NO.9 COPPER WASHING POSSER (DOLLY) Used in a large poss tub on washday instead of a washing machine to create soapsuds & clean laundry. As it is pushed into the water, the water is then forced through the holes to help create bubbles & pound the clothes.

      *snip*

I think the most antique-y thing I encountered on a regular basis when I was growing up was the wringer at the local municipal swimming pool.

There was one in the dressing room so that people could wring the excess water out of their swimming suits.

I think back and marvel that they had put something unattended in a public place that nowadays would be a source of injuries and lawsuits.

However, I don't ever remember hearing about anybody getting injured.

I guess back then there were still a lot of adults who were familiar with wringers from using them for ordinary laundry at home, and showed the younguns how to use them properly.

Congratulations on finding another piece for your green collection. };-)

      Thank you very much Newfld.

Thank you very much elanski. I will find the other parts eventually. Destroy destroy detroy.

Thank you very much keramikos again for all your research. Yes the first thing I noticed was that green handle.
