This was a birthday present to myself (big day was on Saturday just gone). Found on eBay AU, the bidding was running hot but I snagged it at the last moment.
Made from cased spatter glass in light orange with dark orange vertical lines & a dark oxblood bottom up spatter, the biscuit barrel measures around 16 cm tall. There is a silver coloured metal lid & handle, which also features a red Bakelite grip.
It still retains the original FWK label.
Made by Welz, Art Deco era.

Belated Birthday Greetings. Snap! Even down to the jagged shards rather than the spots you usually get on the décor 'Lines and Spots'. I particularly love household items in Welz décors.

Agree about the jagged shards, I almost made a reference to them in my post, but was in a hurry. They are pretty cool!
I am sort of using it for something like it's intended purpose, there is a packet of Coconut Roughs inside...from our local artisan chocolate shop...
There is another cool piece of Welz coming my way in the next few weeks, a rarer decor with an iridescent finish...you have some examples but that's all I'm giving away at present! :-)

I think just this décor and Opalescent Lines have shards. Now I'm going to look at my shelves and see if I can guess what delight is coming to your home soon. :)
