This piece is definitely outside the scope of my collection but I decided to buy it for an extremely modest price and hopefully learn something new
Were the sun, giraffes and palm trees carved by a machine?
7mm thick and 50 x 38 cm glass with solid brass handles
all comments appreciated ;-)
I just learnt that apparently these motifs were sandblasted and popular in the 1930s, then again in the 1950s and probably made in Italy
