I found this Asian plate at a local Habitat Restore. I searched the web but did not see one with this design. It still has the original made in China sticker but no mark. Has anyone seen this plate before or have knowledge of its age and artist?
well that is surprising because rose medaillion is THE MOST POPULAR DESIGN EVER USED IN CHINESE HISTORY
alternating panels encirkling central medailiion, made after 1970, ( food legislation)

normally the checkered floor scenes are more than the what i call the tomato- soup floor
the main rule is still in effect , but maybe you did not recognize this a DECALCOMANIA , handle with care because this is high PPM (lead)
addendum checkered floors scenes are more Rare

you need a awfull lot of exposure to get in trouble but just don,t eat from it
there is a toddler risk, as far as i know only by hyperorability
