Look what I found for my new grandson! An old musical rocking chair! Yard sale find. Needs a bit of work but couldn't pass this up for 10 bucks! The lady I bought this from said she's 67 and had this since she was 3 yrs old.
I've got to figure out how to fix the music box if that's possible but I believe there's a good chance since it does work if you manually push the lever. It plays " Rock a by Baby". It still has what looks like 5he original decal on it too.
When I get it fixed, I'll show updated pics.

It's really nice. As far as the music box goes it looks a bit rusty. Try a few spritzes of WD40 that should help and the lever might need adjusting. I believe the lever hitting the floor as you rock winds it. :)

Thx Mike. I was thinking the same thing. WD 40 is and always has been my go to for so many things! Even at the pick a parts, I've always asked the guys, don't you wanna take wd40? Nah... But guess who'd always come looking for me and my can!!! ;)
