Maybe someone could tell me the date of publication for this book. I have searched Abe Books and many other sites for this particular book and have not seen this book cover anywhere. It has been in the family for years and I am wondering if it is considered to be a
rare book. Thanks for whatever help you can provide to enlighten me.

Burt Books was bought by Blue Ribbon Books in 1937, and in 1939 Blue Ribbon sold its assets including the Burt imprint to Doubleday. So I would suppose if Doubleday isn’t indicated anywhere that should narrow down the date to those two years.

Blue ribbon was established in 1930..with the burt name has to be after 1937.

Was trying to look at The Cornwall Press Inc. history but it's alluding me. But they definitely were in business in late 1930s.

Wow! Thank you for all your help. I find this site to be so helpful and so happy I belong to it. There really are experts in everything. For those of us who are amateurs, it is a great learning experience. You cannot know everything about everything. I have learned so much from all of you:) Thanks again.
