Here is a 3"H orange-gold crystal frog with etched signature & circular Made in France marks on the underside, by Baccarat fine crystal of Meurthe-et-Moselle, France ca the 1970s

Gorgeous orange color. This frog is a prince.
Just adore that colour and the lines of it's design. That incredible glass show is over the top gorgeous and must be quite striking to see it in the sun, when the sun is running through the lines of his back, proving it a very cool piece !~
Lovely golden frog, he's got a gorgeous colour and design..I love the rich amber he is and how sleek he looks. Very simple but really cool.
Stunning! I didn't realize that baccarat made these animal figures, I'll have to be looking a little closer when I run across any, although I generally only see clear crystal, with a rare blue one now and then. Nice find!

Phil I was just saying how lovely this looks when the sun hits it, you read my mind! The color is ever changing, orange to yellow to gold. I think the fine crystal makers like Baccarat must have a way of sculpting & shaping as you would a fine gem, this froggie was an easy photo subject. Superb praise & observ thank you so much

I know Faith, I used to think Baccarat only made clear crystal, then you find beauties like this - I've seen other animals & shells by them in red, pink & green, plus their classic cobalt paperweights of which I have one (Gemini twins, a happy birthday CW post). Hope you will check out some of their colored lovelies they're really nice, and thank you for your awesome praise
