Can anyone identify this radio, built into a hardwood end table (in a pair). Model numbe.r illegible. Made by UABC. What company was that? Why does label say that and RCA?

Cool. Dunno what UABC stands for in this context, but the only Internet hits I could find were for a Mexican radion station.
A potential source of information is that white label that looks like it might have patent numbers on it, but I can't read any of them.
Could you take better focused pictures of both labels, edit your post and add them?

It seems possible that the UABC reference is to vacuum tubes. Below is a tinyurl dot com link for a Wikipedia article that explains those letters (the Wikipedia article link contains underscore characters and Collectors Weekly Show & Tell software doesn't play well with those.
Here is the pertinent excerpt:

I still suspect that if the white label on the back of the radio has patent numbers on it, more information could be gleaned from them about your end-table radio, especially if some of them are design patents.
Better pictures of both labels would be helpful.
