Two Pompeii Frescoes Painted for Tourists - 1951 and 1952

these are both titled and signed by the painter. Many people made these little paintings of frescoes for sale to tourists - throughout the years of the Grand Tour - up to mid-century. I've seen them in many different qualities, and only buy them when i like the quality.
