    Amazing Lucky Leprechaun made in the Republic of Ireland presumably late 40’s.

    Very unusual anyone else have any other information about this little fellow!

      All I can tell you is, the republic of Ireland is the southern half of Ireland.

      It's amazing research, I had looked everywhere for him so really pleased, and he's quite rare is Larry, very unusual features for sure!

      Not sure if you read the museum link information..but the last bit was very interesting..at a point in the 1960s..

      "In the 1960s, Larry the Leprechaun was a prize in a promotional competition for the Irish branded butter, Kerrygold. Kerrygold’s prizes of Irish linen and Crolly dolls was so popular with British consumers that the butter company received letters from prize winters that their ‘luck had changed from the moment they got their Larry the Leprechaun’."
