funny that a long time ago I saw this vase that looked like it was made from rope but it was carved from ceramic
since then I always touch lamps or vases with rope but they were all real rope until yesterday
this is the 30 cm diameter ball rope sculpture from Ugo Zaccagnini
the rope on the neck is real ;-)
Lots of work in that
yes amazing that artists put so many hours of work into pieces like this that are only sold for pennies years later
