A beautiful Oval dish, with gold trim, very nice detail subject on it, would anyone have any information on this piece and what the mark letter M in red means ? thanks, Dean

This is china rather than porcelain. This colonial couple decal along with gold edge was quite popular from the 1930s to 1950s. I've seen original promotional material that offered these patterns for premiums and gave them away at the movie theatre on "dish night"
