Royal-Super De Luxe Precision-Japan: Unit has been in my mother's possession for many years. Any idea/year when these came out and if it's worth something, before I give it away?

What you have is a vintage Japanese Singer model 15 clone, probably a 15-88 or later sub-model (scroll down):

The vintage is post-WWII, probably 1950s or 1960s.

keramikos, thank you! I konw how to run a stitch, but know nothing about the machine. I can tell you, my mother sworn by it and said it was in working condition. I just love the old designs; labels, logos and prints! I viewed all the links and the video was so informative, no idea it stitched leather.

It sounds like you might be keeping it, so I'll refine and augment the information I gave you yesterday (I was more or less at the end of my serious Internet surfing day yesterday when I commented on this post).
Your machine appears to be a near-clone of a Singer model 15-90, because it has these features (features which differentiate it from its siblings the 15-88 and 15-91 are annotated with asterisks):
Solid handwheel *
Bobbin case finger position is at 11 o'clock
Bobbin case Simanco part number 125291
Round plate stitch length control lever with reverse
Direct bobbin winder
Feed dogs will drop
External motor (belt-driven) **
* Differs in this from the 15-88 which has a spoked wheel
** Differs in this from the 15-91 which has a built-on, gear-driven motor

I think you can ditch the soft copy for the model 15-91, because you have links for both the generic model 15 and the 15-90; however, I'll give you a link for the adjuster's manual for that variation (mostly because I couldn't find a free one for the 15-90):

Your motor drive belt looks like an improvised replacement and it looks a bit shaky. If you want to get a real replacement, this outfit is reputable (I see replacements out there from Walmart, Amazon, etc., but I don't know about the quality):

Obviously, I can't tell much about the bobbin case from your existing pictures and it's pretty unlikely that it has a Simanco one, unless somebody got one for a replacement.
keramikos, Thanks again. I copied all the information you gave me plus all of the links. I have a case with so many mechanism parts, but not sure if these parts belong to this unit. I'll organize them and sought them out.

With any luck, the attachments will not only be for your Japanese model 15 clone, they'll look similar to the attachments for the model 15.
