SEEKING OPINIONS about this piece. PLEASE leave a comment and let me know what you think, good bad or otherwise.

    Please??!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

It was found as seen here, and I'm considering doing something RADICAL -- some may say BAD even -- to it, simply because I think I like it and want to use it...BUT, I also absolutely *loathe* its current "antiqu-ed ivory" condition/finish. It stands about 21" tall and is 23" wide, a mirror is suspended with nice hardware over a drawer that makes it a little over 8" deep. There aren't any markings visible except for the number 27 pencil written both inside the drawer compartment and on the bottom of the drawer itself.

SO, I'm debating with myself the idea of buying a couple cans of some bright and cheery primary color SPRAY PAINT, or maybe even just simple satin black or one of those fun 'hammertone' colors available these days -- or in other words the *QUICK and DIRTY* method of making it an acceptable part of my decor, without going to all the bother and work of really stripping and refinishing it properly, into the likely true (or near) antique piece it could be (should be?) if not for all the brown washed white glop...???

I'm quite capable, of course, of maintaining the *do no more harm* principle such that I'd preserve the parts of it that managed to escape the previous treatment -- frankly I'd probably do a better job repainting it purple (or whatever) than whoever 'antiqued' it did with that...???

    ;-) ;-) ;-)

SO, WHAT SAY YE, learned friends and show-and-tell victims here at CW??
PAINT IT and USE IT, or just leave it alone, and stick it in storage...???
