    She was my mom’s doll most likely from the early 1940’s since Mom was born in 1934. She looks similar to MA Scarlett O’Hara but I can’t find any photos that have these clothes. She has been stored, rather badly, for a very long time. I can’t find any markings on her body. I have some other dolls that will be posted separately I’m just curious as to what I have.

      This is actually scarlet from gone with the wind. Released in 1949 this doll wears an extremely rare dress that was made to match the "southern girl" doll of the same year. Many believe her to be melonie who madame was not allowed to mass manufacture. Thus their matching dresses.
