I am most interested in finding out If the wooden Box has any historical value. I am a woodburner and and purchased this as a potential project but after studying it, decided not to touch it without learning more about it. Can anyone enlighten me?

"EMBRACE UNCERTAINTY". I kinda like that, especially these days when doing so seems to have become an unavoidable part of life...?? ;-) :-)

I used to collect cigar boxes and still have a few. I see nothing special here but do check the tax stamps on them. Unless you have a very unusual box any value historical or otherwise is normally in the tax stamp. As for being a burner, my wife would burn designs into our wooden boxes and sell them on eBay for a major price compared to the two or three dollars we paid for them. Usually 200 to 300% profit.

Thank you all for such helpful responses.
fhrjr2...I would love to see some of your wife's pyrography. I started burning at the beginning of the pandemic so still have alot to learn. My Email is connie.sanders21@gmail.com
