This is a odd piece, Its about a foot high or so on a handmade base, The base was attached with three places. It seems very very old with some dark green patina . It came unattached over the years but still cool. alot of work to make this . Thanks

Typical of those made in India. The leaf and vine motif is also used in sheesham wood trays, chests, etc.

I have come across these as if they were left in my way to find them. These all remind me of India so much and a lot of them bring to mind that some of them give the appearance of being unfinished. The ones I came across were very dirty, but given some polish they were brought to life once again !~
