    Everlast Metal Products operated in New York City (468 West Broadway, NY, NY (1942), Suite 1100 225 Fifth Avenue, NY, NY (1947-1952) and 464 West Broadway, NY, NY (1955)) between 1932-1961. It was owned and operated by Louis Schnitzer (1894-1966) and Nathan Gelfman (1891-1982), immigrant metal workers from Kiev, Ukraine.

      225 Fifth Ave, now known as The Grand Madison, was for the latter quarter of the twentieth century, known as the Brunswick Building or New York Gift Building; for many years NYC's premier showcase for glass, ceramic and silver giftware.
