Does anyone know anything about this lamp? Pretty sure its by Granitex~VERY heavy~5 1/2 feet tall with base (not sure if its original or a marriage, goes well with it) 4feet tall without base
I think its plaster over cast iron, pretty slag glass on shade~Works great ..I found a picture of same one,but with a different base online, but cant get info..Wont let me sign up for an account to view..Any info,or ideas on where to look would be appreciated
Looking for age,is this original base,composition...etc Thanks!

Someone has or had this one on sale on ebay with a picture of grandmother beside lamp dated 1968 and that would have been when she bought hers new because that is the date when these came out. They started to make many examples in the late 1960's. The tables they made also to go with the lamps. I used to buy examples in garage sales in the 1990's, so I started my research then.
