Hi everyone. I seem to have been very fortunate to start my new year finding this pair of 4 1/2 in nappys by Hobbs, Brockunier &Co. circa. 1886. I already own a few items from Hobbs but none such as these. I spotted them online last night and instantly knew what they were...even though they were advertised as "peach rim yellow vasaline candy dishes" lol.
I know these were made in many, many various color and treatment combinations. My question is this : is this color variation the "rose"?......"cranberry red"? (the one I believe them to be) or "ruby"/"ruby verde"? Thanks and enjoy. :)
These are also opalescent...."dewdrop"...so maybe ruby verde?
