Carved (oak?) antique cabinet. Trapezoid shape. Gothic looking hardware. Been in the family for decades.

Does anyone know history? No markings to be found. Style? Period?

    Unsolved Mystery

It looks very nice, but they say not to post if you can't do the pics the right way. Its better to fix that.

Phil said it. Read the FAQ's for guidance in how to properly orient your pictures. The rule and FAQ's are there to read for free.

Thank you for the comments. I did read the FAQs, just not the questions section where the information you are pointing out is available. Also, the photos I took on my phone were properly oriented and they also were in my downloads on my computer. It was this site that turned them. I will try to orient them correctly!

This site did not turn them. You need to orient them on a computer then save them under a file name and they will post properly. Your problem is common with photos taken on a cell phone or tablet. A regular digital camera will orient them properly when taken, just not the phone or tablet.

Janiecia- this helps me since I make pictures and posts only from my phone:
On your phone, Pull up the picture u intend to use.
Edit that picture...do a slight enlargement or change the borders...any little thing will work...then select “done” when u r satisfied with it.
Then post the picture — it then comes out oriented correctly.
It’s a common problem when posting from phone. I hope this helps!
