This one is a fairly common PYREX pattern, I think (but am not sure) it's called "Amish-something". My own mom had a stack of these, this one isn't one of those. 8-3/4" across, 4" tall. Its bottom marks identify it as a #403 2-1/2 QT."

Once more, my MOST GRACIOUS THANKS to keramikos, carmenisacat, catteann, & Broochman for your informative and entertaining comments (not to mention correcting my erroneous recollection from a 2 day old quick google search as to what the pattern name was called) and also to Vinyl33rpm, fortapache, Watchsearcher, vetraio50, & Coleman1959 for stopping by and leaving your <love it>s!
