Is this a glass insulator? I can't find any info or pics online. It has the safe heft as the standard round blue Insulators. No markings.

It doesn't seem to be threaded inside and there is no groove for a wire. Not sure how it would work as an insulator.

Maybe part of a candle holder instead, if its point should really aim 'down'..??

I agree with the candle holder theory as I have something similar. It's blue glass but in a pyramid shape and with a cool metal rod holder. But I can't seem to find it at the moment. If I do I will post it. Love the green color!
