    It’s a wooden hand carved elephant that rolls. It says jumbo on it. Red paint for the blanket cover. Not sure ignoring it had a string attached to it at one point

      Very cool toy . It does appear to be hand carved but made from a mold in 2 half's put together . I can't tell what it is made of by photo by perhaps some type of hard rubber . He is made by the Hubley Mfg. Company . Great piece and yes he had a rope to pull him .

      Jumbo was the star attraction of Barnum & Bailey Circus Show. I believe when he died Barnum had him stuffed and put in his Museum in N.Y. til it burned down in the 1890's

      Correction I meant to say he does NOT appear hand carved in above statement :-) He is from a mold .. Mystery solved . Dates around 1940's
