The Files of a Chinese Herbalist and a UC Educated MD and a Naturopath in the 1940s

These are just a few of the many, many interesting things i found in those card file cabinets i bought for my seeds. The cabinets were owned by a Dr. Richard Fong who was the son of Fong Wan - a very famous Chinese herbalist and multi-millionaire nightclub owner in San Francisco. If you google him, he was quite an interesting character. There were thousands of business cards in the cabinets - including many doctors, mayors, community leaders from all over - even Tahiti! some really fascinating things too. Check out the third picture which shows the breakdown of his father's monetary worth in 1941.
