    Expertly carved and made by a German prosthetist many years ago. It was on a shelf in a fellow’s shed who was downsizing to a retirement village. He himself was a prosthetist and told me the man he worked for made it and came to Australia some time after WW2. I imagine that man might have learnt his trade during the war? It’s so well made and the digits all move easily, the thumb has a spring and always moves back to the same position. Obviously the knuckles only move back and forth
