This unusual Tazza confirms another example of Loetz's "innen silber gefleckt" (spotted interior silver iridescence) shown in larksel's excellent Neptun bowl posted a couple of months ago:
    https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/262742-loetz-neptun-candia-papillon--neptun-in?in=user
Glassie posted a similar piece in the classic "innen silber" about a year ago:
    https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/246427-loetz-candia-wellenoptisch-tazza-ca-1904

This one is also st PN II-1845- it stands 12.5 cm tall. The decor descriptions for this shape only mention "candia wellenoptisch innen Silber" as the decor, but PN II-1842, a very similar shape, also references "candia wellenoptisch innen Silber gefleckt", which is what we have here.

Hi Warren! What do you know about the base color of this piece? It seems kind of smoky compared to Glassie's piece.

The base color is definitely candia, which is a colorless glass. I think this one has a little more iridescent spray on the base and stems, giving it that smoky color. Candia Martele pieces often look like this.

That contrasting tripartite Candia foot also took my attention .... its construction interests me.
