This is an interesting estate find that made me all excited. So lovely and delicate. I tried to solve the mystery of the stones by method of errors and trials. I believe the oblong ones are natural Aquamarine with subtle inclusions. But what about the smaller with opalescent glow?

Hi there, I suspect that they are labradorite stones, which have a very bluey / rainbow-like adularescense, or mysterious glow, similar to the effect in moonstones.

In fact, looking on google, the term is called labradorescence!

Beautiful necklace, I love these carved gem stones.

Thank you very much for a useful and helpful hint! I will explore further from the angle of “Labradorescence”.

Come to think of it, the pearls do look newer! Thank you for pointing out little things that make all the difference and help distinguish between true vintage and vintage-looking jewelry.
