Hello again, I was wondering if anyone knows what this is? Is it a pickle dish? Does anyone recognise this place or know the pattern name/maker!? Thank you in advance!

I have the same shape dish, I have always used it for a spoon rest by my stove. Your post inspired me to do a internet search and found that it is a "Shell shaped relish dish". I will continue using mine for a Spoon Rest, as I can enjoy it every day.

Thank you for your lovely comment, a shell shaped relish dish? Can't believe there is such a thing haha! I shall have a research down that route now, thank you!

You won't believe it but I've found another one the same shape being described as a shell shaped relish dish / spoon rest haha! Anyway it seems it is a relish dish! I've found a fairly similar one in blue & white from the 1850's so this is a great help to me, I should be able to go somewhere with this now so thank you so much I really appreciate your help, I don't know how you managed to find the shape!
