I bought this at auction but I have no idea who made it as the signature on the bottom is not very clear so I need some help to identify who made it

What part of the world are you in? Might help to figure to start with a country...
Rub some white talc over the signature and post another pic.......could the last letter be WMK ?? Just a guess.....Hard to tell
