    I bought a bunch of these military documents from 1826. They are each 12" long. However I'm not sure what they really are, or what they were printed/used for. I paid $1 each, which I'm hoping wasn't too much because they are just printed documents.

      Thanks Gillian. That does make sense, but I wonder why accounting documents would be printed like this? It seems like there would be no need to have a significant amount of copies. It probably would have been easier to handwrite several copies if needed by different people or departments
