Okay, I found this lamp today at a yard sale and noticed the B&H on the oil cap. So, I bought this for $3.00. After getting it home, I am wondering if this has been a pieced together lamp. I took the base off and it has two different markings. On the underside of the base, it is marked P.G. Co or F.G Co and then a number. When you flip the removed base over, where the red part would sit on, it is marked P. L & B Co.
not too sure about this one, but it is interesting. Any ideas??

The P G CO is Pittsburgh Glass Co. The P L B Co is Pittsburgh Lamp and Brass Co.
The two were the same company, The Pittsburgh Lamp Brass and Glass Co, or usually marked P G L & G Co. I think they lost the original oil cap and replaced it with a B&H one. Nice lamp!
