This is fairly large - particularly for a Belgian piece at 6.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide. I first saw this piece a few months ago and i really liked it, but it was kind of expensive - at an upscale salvage / antique store in Berkeley, but i made an offer today and they accepted it. it was still more than i ever pay for things. but i just loved the crystalline glaze and subtle colors. i think it says 'Belgium Faienceries ____', but i can't read the last word. Let me know what you think. thanks!

the glaze reminds me alot of some of the pieces i've seen by Adelaide Robineau.

The third word may be Thulin. A quick search didn't turn up a lot but there is probably information available (especially if you read French). Apparently the company made "Nouveau" style vases for 50 years, from 1923 to 1973. Back in the late 1960s to early '70s, multitudes of similarly marked vases with glossy, flambe glazes were exported to USA. I suspect your piece is earlier than the '60s.

i think that the mark on this one is much older looking than most Belgium Faienceries Thulin pieces out there. i wish i could find more definitive info.
