I have a huge collection of transferwear and most I can identify. Does anyone know about "Snipe"?

I think is actually says Suipe. When you magnify it there a some dirt above the U making it look like an n. Didn’t help defined any info on the maker though!

There is a letter on the clock dial, is it an A?
    3. martika martika, 8 years ago
The dial has the Ansonia mark.

Thank you for taking a look at it! I will keep looking in that direction. The A stumped me as well.
