I bought this plate for two reasons - there is something about that abstract design I just don't get tired of and it feels reassuringly heavy in my hands - in fact, it is difficult to put down. It was from a charity store so didn't cost me much, and there are a few chips on the side but it is really attractive. The stoneware is cream and the design is black and grey. The whole plate measures 32cm from edge to edge and on the back there is a signature; I think the second word is Cecina, a place in Italy, but I'm only guessing. I would really love to know more if anyone has any ideas.

Hi, i have managed to find out the signature is Vila Clara, a family company of ceramists in Spain.
