      The mark is hard to read because of the glare. I see Made In Germany and a V.

      That is all that is there. The makers mark has been blacked out. I have a partial floral plate and three plain white plates with the same makers mark...

      Nope, I washed them & the black stayed. It seems like they were made that way.

      I have had several - and still do, somewhere. You put the name & date of the married couple in the banner. They were given as wedding gifts.
