My luck the mark is upside-down. Studio potters are far too creative with their signatures :-)

Found these nested together on a rubbish table and fell in love. There was a lot of contemporary local pottery at the sale so it could be anything but they are familiar for some reason. The ceramic is very white and the walls thin. Noodle bowl sized. The original owner spent time in the UK but also did a lot of traveling so they could be from anywhere.

Anyone familiar with the mark or style?

UPDATE: A kindly soul has indicated this is likely the mark of British studio pottery Judith Swannell!

Thank you for taking the trouble of signing up! I see where you're going with that; a quick internet search yields a near identical mark. She's British, so it fits with the Provenance. Now to do more research :-)

Doesn't that feel good? I just love it when some pot gets identified. So many don't. :-)
