Here is a shot of a portion of my collection of Sweetheart, Son/Brother/ Father in the service, Production, Red Cross, Victory, etc pins. Many are sterling, some are pot metal, and the 3 towards the center are celluloid. There is also 1 ring. A kind of tribute for the sacrifice of those who served, as well as their families.

Sir, I possibly discovered a sweetheart pin among my parents belongings but although similar not exactly like those you have. I would like to know your thoughts. My Great Uncle Charlie was in the Expeditionary Force in France at Verdun and Chateau Thiery. If you could tell me something about the pin as we are having a WWI exhibit at a historic site I work at and I would like to loan it and do not want to be unaware of its history. Since I cannot seem to post a photo, it has two crossed cannons in the center is an oval with a bomb shell below that and attached is a red bordered flag with a single blue star. Thank you for your time I will try to attach a photograph if possible. Evelyn
