    I know cleaning coins kills value, but non-valuable coins in this bad of shape must be cleaned. I picked it up for a quarter, not able to tell the date.
    Now, it's in very good shape. LOL.

    The 1917 German 5 Pfennig came in both zinc and steel. I had at first thought mine was steel due to the rust, but it's a zinc one (more or less.)
