    11 1/2 " tall
    approx 9" at widest
    White porcelain, gold overlay, blindfolded male searching for 5 females (similar to hide and seek); male riding horse in snow capped area with small army in background walking towards him (all dressed alike); male standing over another male sitting on the ground, older female to the side.

    I believe this is a Kutani porcelain.

    Any other help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. My friend gave me this vase and said strange things happen when it is in the house, but nothing hurtful. She purchased it approximately 20 years ago.

      I would rather think it's a satsuma
      very nice quality... i would guess meiji period
