Great Aunt Jen lamp

I think this lamp is at least 70yrs old. My favorite Aunt Jen lived from 1869-1964. She held public office in the eary 1900's and Maybe had this in her office and later for sure, in her apartment. It is 15 inches tall with shell shade. 10 inches without shade. It is really heavy, with PAT APLD.FOR stamped on bottom. Could have been purchased in Florida, New York or Iowa. I would appreciate any information about it. The original (I think) wiring pronges have the number E-13393. Inside the shell shade someone hand printed TNEK. I don't know why.
