    Mournful maid statue. A very somber and sad. It seems to be a very old.
    There is no sign that would indicate the origin of the statue.

      Pretty Sure that this is another depiction of a barefoot Peasant Girl at prayer during the ANGELUS, the Catholic times of prayer during the day. The Angelus was made famous by Jean Francois Millet in his painting of the same name. It was painted in 1857 and hangs in the Orsay Museum in Paris. It looks quite old, especially with that base.
